Terms of Service

Last updated: June 27, 2026

By using SEC Insider (secinsider.ai), you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the parts about this being information, not advice.

1. What SEC Insider is

SEC Insider is an informational research tool. It reads public company filings from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR system and other public records, and presents fundamentals, grades, and notable findings derived from them.

Not investment advice. Nothing on SEC Insider is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security, and nothing here is personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary. Grades and findings are automated analysis of public data, not a judgment about whether any security is suitable for you. Always do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making investment decisions.

2. Data accuracy

Information is sourced from public filings and other public datasets and may contain errors, omissions, or delays. Figures are computed from companies' own reported data and may be normalized or estimated. Always verify against the original filing before relying on anything. We make no warranty that the information is accurate, complete, or current.

3. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEC Insider and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any trading or investment losses, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

4. Advertising & affiliate disclosure

The service is supported in part by contextual advertising and affiliate links. Ads are supplied by third parties and do not constitute our endorsement. Some outbound links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up or purchase — at no additional cost to you. These commercial relationships do not influence our grades, metrics, or findings, which are computed solely from public filings. See our Privacy Policy for how ads and affiliates handle data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests beyond reasonable use, or use it for unlawful purposes. Public pages may be crawled by search engines and AI agents; high-volume programmatic access should use any provided data feeds or contact us first.

6. Intellectual property

Underlying SEC filing data is public-domain U.S. government information. Our original analysis, grades, commentary, design, and the SEC Insider name and logo are our property. You may reference and link to our pages; you may not republish our proprietary analysis wholesale or present it as your own.

7. Not affiliated with the SEC

SEC Insider is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. "SEC" refers to the publicly available filings we analyze.

8. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of [state/jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
